Event registration

Event registration takes place on Luma. Information you share there is subject to Luma’s privacy policy. Organizers may use registration information to coordinate the event and provide the event services you choose.

Private community directories

Attendee details are not published on public event pages. Private event directories are available through a shared link and list attendees who are going, unless they turn the directory off in their preferences. When an event’s registration asks for your LinkedIn, you are listed only if you share it there or have added it in your preferences. Each listing shows a name, a short background, a LinkedIn link and a photo; you can correct your LinkedIn link and upload your own photo in your preferences. Anyone with that link may be able to view the directory, so share only information you are comfortable making available to fellow attendees.

Demo night applications

If you apply to demo at a builder night, we store your name, email, project description and links, LinkedIn link and company so organizers can review your application and contact you. Applications are visible only to organizers and are never shown on public pages.

Email and preferences

You can choose whether to receive community emails or appear in a directory. Email messages include an unsubscribe option. Changing your preferences does not cancel an event registration.

Information we use

We use the information needed to operate event services, including registration details, profile information you provide (such as a LinkedIn link or photo you upload), public professional profile information we find to suggest who to meet, consent choices, and delivery records. Service providers may process that information on our behalf. Basic usage analytics may help us understand how the website is used.

Photos and content

This site includes photographs from club events. To request a correction or removal, contact the organizer through the relevant event page on Luma.
